About the event
On April 9, 1942, 78,000 troops (66,000 Filipinos and 12,000 Americans), the largest contingent of U.S. soldiers ever to be surrendered were taken captive by the Japanese. To honor their heroisim, we host a ceremony to commemorate the Fall of Bataan. Although many of the veterans have passed on, we carry on their legacy by sharing their stories and impact, conducting a flag and wreath-laying ceremony, and more. Join us.
